同样说娱乐、说愿望，这几个词怎么区分？

同样是指消遣、娱乐，amuse，divert，entertain这几个词的具体区别何在？

通常情况下，amuse指向的娱乐，是比较轻微的、不严肃的，比如amuseyourselveswhileIpreparedinner这样的语境中，“在我准备晚餐的时候你娱乐一下自己”，找点玩意儿打发一下时间。

Divert的含义，的确是“使某某欢娱”，更准确来说是转移、分散注意力，通常是指从忧虑或者是责任等情绪中脱离出来，找一些不同的轻快的东西分散焦虑之情。

比如说Tiredbusinessmenlookingforacomedytodivertthem，疲惫的商人们寻找一出喜剧来娱乐（指洗刷疲劳、放松心情）。

Entertain可能是我们见到的，和“娱乐”相关性最高的一个英文单词，作动词用表示“让谁谁高兴、使某某高兴”时，entertain潜在强调的意思是通过繁复的准备工作、或者种种不同的方式，让某人高兴，换句话说，表示“招待、款待”。

比如说宴客，我们就可以用到entertain这个词。

Aspiration的细微区别，在于常常志向朝着比自己更高阶的事物努力。

比如有朝一日成为总统的抱负，AnaspirationtobecomePresidentsomeday

Pretension的区别更加明显、非常好分辨，通常是指自负、骄傲；pretension指向的愿望、往往是自己实际能力之外的，资质无法触及的、不具备能力的。

Pretensionsuggestsardentdesireforrecognitionofaccomplishmentwithoutactualpossessionofthenecessaryabilityorqualificationsandthereforeimpliespresumptionorfolly.

比如我们如果形容当年诸葛亮挥泪所斩的马谡，描述这个人的自负，就不应该用aspiration而应该用pretension
