第六章用之不勤

说明：
1、“(谷)神”的英译
老子用“谷神”象征“道”，说明“道”既是空虚的又是实在的，同时还是变化莫测的，所以用英语表达出来并非易事。ArthurWaley用了theValleySpirit，许渊冲用了thevalespirit，属于直译，辜正坤直接用了Tao，属于意译。我们则折中了一下，用thevaleGod(divinelaw)，可以让读者知道老子的“谷神”即为“道”。
2、“用之不勤”的英译
“勤”，音：jin，同“尽”，即“无穷无尽”之意。ArthurWaley译成了neverrundry，许渊冲译成used,itisinexhaustible，辜正坤译成itsusecanneverbeexhausted。大同小异。我们则用了itsfunctionisless。
